In my most recent post, I talked about how to work from home and actually get work done. If you haven’t read it yet – I highly encourage you too! I think it’s important to have the right mindset during a time like this, but anytime you’re being required to pivot.
Everything is an opportunity, whether you notice it not.
So today, I wanted to talk about what to wear while working from home – or really if you find yourself unemployed/homemaker..whatever! If your home is your office – temporarily or permanently, then this post is for you.
In that previous post, I stressed the importance of getting dressed in the morning and maintaining some sort’ve routine. Getting dressed for work, in a similar fashion that you’d do if you were actually leaving the house – just trust me on this, it’ll put a serious pep in your step. The beauty of this is that you can wear whatever makes you feel good – that sequin skirt? your too-luxe-to-touch maxi? the gorgeous bohemian blouse that you haven’t worn because you’re waiting for a special event? Yeah babe, they are all up for grabs.
More and more I’ve been leaning into looking beautiful at home – join me, will you?
Oh, and let’s remember one of the best parts – it doesn’t matter what the weather is like outside, no rain or snow can dampen your fashion show (hey, that rhymed, lol!).
The key is comfortable elegance, I believe. Midi, maxi dresses that are loosely fitted or very loose so you can prance around from kitchen, to office, to living room with ease.
Another option is the have gorgeous knitwear and/or co-ords that help you look polished and put together with minimal effort.
How do you feel about comfortable elegance at home over baggy sweats and an old t-shirt? Let me know on Instagram!
