I wanted to create a themed Weekly Edit this week – if you follow me on Instagram! I asked a couple of weeks ago, to tell me a time or event that you struggle with when it comes to what to wear! I received a ton of great responses but one was definitely the Work Christmas/Holiday Party so of course, I wanted that one to be up first.

Of course, what first comes to mind is sequins and black which always works and you can never go wrong! Other options are to take your regular work wear and emphasize your accessories. Add a fancy belt, a decorative purse, a jeweled headband – it helps to separate the look from what you would normally wear and requires minimal thought or effort.

Another great way to distinguish your party outfit from your regular 9-5 outfit is your makeup!

Here are a few ways to change up your make-up look…
– Wear a cat-eye look (this is my fave eyeliner..ever!)
– Throw on some falsies (these are a gorge yet natural look)
– Do you usually wear glasses at work? Try wearing contacts for the special event
– How about a soft and subtle smokey eye, or maybe a bolder one? (This liner is perfect for that and never needs to be sharpened!)
– Matte red lip? or maybe a Matte pink one?
…These are just a few ways to switch up your look and stand out!
