I was in Chicago about two weeks ago, for both business and pleasure (BTW, are you following me on Instagram yet? I posted wayyyy more pics, so click here for the rest!) and this was right before I had a rather underwhelming Brunch. I used to work in Customer Service, so I’m usually pretty patient when I’m dealing with anyone in the service industry but this place made it so hard lol!
Needless to say, I was pretty hangry which I’m sure made me blind and probably more dramatic than necessary – the oysters were quite splendid though 🙂
Anywho, the weather was rather confusing and bi-polar (le sigh), so I needed a Summer sweater! I find that I am always on the hunt for the perfect Summer sweater; Loose and cozy yet breathable to still feel cool and of course, stylish. Weird, I know! So, when I came across this beauty at Zara on Randolph St., I was pleasantly surprised. If you’ve been reading SS for a bit, than it’s no surprise that Zara is my go-to for (almost) everything, click here and here for some Zara-heavy looks!
Not only did it carry me through Brunch, but given that the bi-polar weather has followed me back to Toronto (wahhhh!)… I’ve been wearing it daily #sorrynotsorry! Special thanks to the absolutely wonderful staff at the Thompson Chicago, for making my short yet sweet stay very memorable. I gotta say, I’ve been to a couple of the Thompson Hotel Properties (Toronto, Chicago, NYC) and the staff at the Chicago location were so amazing and definitely set the service standard that I’d love to see, the other locations follow!
PS. Are you obsessed with my sunnies? UGH, I bought them a couple of months ago in a different colour set, I’m wearing them in this blog post and when the black x black was released, I knew they had to be mine. What makes me love them even more than their natural gorgeousness? $20 USD! #ThankYouGlamGod
