Sock boots blasted onto the scene via Kanye West at his Yeezy S/S 2017 show and it’s been rapid on the internet ever since. When I saw these boots on ASOS, at first I wasn’t completely sold. I have ridiculously tiny ankles and I feel like my feet are disproportionately large for my size, so the anatomy of a shoe like this played on my insecurities.
However, fashion is fun and I’ve had my fair share of style disasters so I thought why the hell not.
Well, I am so glad I did – except for one caveat, they’re painful as all hell. BUT THEY’RE SO PRETTY! As usual, I kept it monochromatic and wanted the glitter on the boots to pop in a subtle way.
