If you follow me on Instagram (which you, like totally, should if you don’t already!), you would’ve noticed that I ran away to Cannes, for the tail end of the Film Festival and Monaco for the Formula 1 race aka un petit morceau de paradis. I had been itching to return since my visit last year (before SS was born) and I was bursting at the seams when the trip was <finally> confirmed and official. To be in the South of France during the most exciting time on it’s calendar was cloud nine and I felt/feel so blessed to have experienced it, once again.
Waking up to the sublime azure ocean, hearing waves crashing and the brightest, beaming Mr. Golden Sun on my face is a feeling that makes my soul radiate like no other. There are very few places that have the strong feeling of home in the world for me, but when I’m on a coastal vacation – no matter where, I always feel it. This trip was just what I needed to kick off an unforgettable summer of love, strength and freedom.
Many people don’t know, that I have blossomed into a tiny, minuscule Formula 1/Grand Prix fan! You can look at my previous Grand Prix race experience here – and while I can’t proclaim to be an expert on the sport, I am loving what I know and have experienced thus far. Plus, let’s be completely honest – <almost> every sport is 110% more thrilling, exciting and exhilarating watching it live in person!

A huge thanks to the entire Azzurra II staff and team, for their incredible hospitality and an amazing stay, it was such an incredible couple of days.
