So, if you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I absolutely love to stay in Lower Manhattan when I’m visiting NYC. It’s (relatively) quiet during the weekends, close to SoHo and Brooklyn and easy to get to when I arrive at EWR. Seriously — it’s my fave. This past trip to NYC I was visiting for the Fohr U Conference which was being held in SoHo, so naturally the hunt was on for somewhere to stay.
Hilton properties have always filled a special place in my heart, so naturally that was my first browse. Above price; I’m always looking for the best value when I’m deciding on where to stay. Am I getting the best bang for my buck? The Millennium Hilton on Church St had a ‘Westfield Shoppers Package’ so, OF COURSE — I was intrigued. Anything that can enable more shopping in NYC, I’ll likely be down for haha!
So basically, the website says “The Westfield Shoppers Package is guaranteed to help you shop ‘til you drop at Manhattan’s largest shopping complex. Westfield World Trade Center is known as one of New York’s premier shopping destinations and its right outside our door. With a wide selection of luxury brand and fast fashion retailers, Westfield is the perfect place to treat yourself. After exploring our downtown New York neighbourhood, kick up your feet and cozy up in our relaxing guest rooms with spectacular views while enjoying your gift bag of exclusive samples.”
UM SOLD.
Firstly because, all you had to do was book a 2 night stay in a suite (perfect – conference was on Friday and I was only staying the weekend), then you would receive a $100 gift card and a gift bag of samples from some of the brands! You also receive a private tour of the Oculus and you can request a designated concierge to help you with any shopping needs or assistance in making your stay that much more special.
Since I know my way around any mall with my eyes closed and my hands behind me – I decided to explore solo. Full disclosure, I’ve been to Westfield before and it’s part of the reason why I adore staying in that area, the shopping scene is growing and of course, let’s take a moment to indulge in the amazing architecture.
Coupled with the fact that my suite was cozy, relaxing and had the best views in the city (No lie) – my stay was another one to remember.
Have you ever stayed at the Millennium Hilton before? Would you now? As always, tell me on Insta!
