– Polonius, Hamlet Act 1, scene 3, 78–82

Yes, you can wear White after Labour Day. Wearing White after Labour Day has been long considered one of the <biggest> fashion faux-pas around, but I’m here to tell you that it is def okay, moooore than just okay to rock your eggshell/ivory/bleached pieces after the Summer holiday.
As far as I’m concerned, most fashion rules in this day and age don’t exist! Let’s just be honest, here. For every single article and blogger that says ‘No way!’ there are 10,000 others that are killing said rule and look stunning while doing it. It’s all about texture, fabrics and the co-stars in your wardrobe – with some thoughtful consideration, it’s definitely do-able.
This outfit was perfect for a Pre-Fall/Ode to Summer outfit and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. White is such an intense yet subtle and exquisite colour – so regardless of the date, don’t limit yourself! I took these beautiful images about two weeks ago and while the weather has quickly changed on me, I can’t help but look at these pictures and love ’em!
See ya next year, Summer – you will be missed.
