Late last year, I travelled to Dubai, U.A.E during the Formula One weekend race being held in Abu Dhabi! If you follow me on Instagram, you might’ve seen a quick snapshot of my trip… here’s what you didn’t!
I had an amazing time with friends and had the luxury of meeting some new ones along the way. Dubai is an amazing city with a very distinct personality and style, yet so vast and interesting that you have the luxury of experiencing other cultures while there. It’s almost like a much more refined and exotic Vegas, there is so much to see, do and experience – one trip is never enough.
Spending time in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi provided me with different views of the UAE. Having travelled predominantly in North America, I actually relished the fact that I was a real foreign traveller and was able to fully emerge within the culture and truly experience a place outside of everything I know and am used to!
I travelled quite a bit in 2014 for both business and pleasure and pray that 2015 brings me the same, if not better experiences! I’m also trying to work on a Dubai vlog, which will be posted on my YouTube channel – I’m such a newb when it comes to editing so your patience is appreciated!

Having drinks at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina (Highly recommend!). They have a bumpin’ happy hour and you get to meet travellers from all over the world, while you jam to oldies – damn good time!
