I’ve been wanting to shoot a 9 to 5 style piece for a while now, but couldn’t find pieces that really replicated my own style while still remaining professional. Then I dug deep within my ever-growing closet and remembered this suit, that I actually bought separately, months apart from Zara. The cigarette style pants, give a polished and comfortable vibe, so that you can pair your favourite pumps or minimalist style sandals like these ones from Steve Madden and the blazer has a bit of length which is ideal for the office or hiding a muffin top.
The princess/pique style shoulders was the closer for me though, giving a much needed feminine boost to the overall style – not to mention this amazing Fuchsia pink colour! This colour reminds me of walking into a client’s office and closing a deal on the spot, it almost makes me miss working in an office again… almost 😉
